Planning a camping trip should be easy. Here you’ll find answers to common questions about reservations, check-in, amenities, and campground policies. If you don’t see what you’re looking for, just reach out and we’ll be happy to help.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-In/Check-Out: Check-in time is 2:00 PM for all campsites and 3:00 PM for cabins and rentals. Check-out time for all campsites and cabins is noon. Early check-in/ check-out options (based on availability) are available to you if you need a little extra time.

Can we bring our pets camping with us?

Yes you may! Pets are also allowed in all our rental units. Please keep your pets on a leash and clean up after them at all times and bring their vaccination papers with you.

Can we request a specific campsite?

Yes you may -- if you see a specific site on our map that you want to reserve, just include it in the "Additional Info" section of our Reservation Form, or give us a call and tell us! Subject to availability and policies.

What if I have to cancel my reservation?

Though we certainly hope you don’t, if you find you must cancel your reservation, simply give us more than 7 days’ notice prior to your scheduled arrival date and we will return your deposit in full less a $20 cancellation fee. Are campfires allowed and can I bring firewood?

Yes and yes! Campfires are permitted within the fire rings. Firewood is also available to purchase at our store. For everyone's convenience and enjoyment, please don't move our fire rings!

Can we have visitors while camping?

Yes you may! Visitors must register at the office and unregistered visitors and guests are not allowed in the campground while the office is closed. There is a daily visitor’s fee of $5.00 per person, and overnight guests are $10.00 per night. Visitors younger than 21 and over 64 are free.

Do you have seasonal sites?

Yes, Buttonwood Campground has a friendly community of seasonal campers that will all tell you there’s no better place to spend a summer than with us! Please check for availability.

What do I do with my Trash?

Bag it, put it out by the road at the end of your site before 9pm and we will pick it up.
