River Fun

Spend time in the Juniata River wading and swimming, floating in your own tube, fishing, or just enjoying the view. It's refreshing way to enjoy the outdoors right next to the campground! (Please note: You must be staying at Buttonwood Campground to use our tubing equipment and/or put-ins.)

Buttonwood River Tubing

River tubing with our wristband program is the best way to enjoy the water... shuttle upstream, put in with our Buttonwood tubes, and enjoy the float back to the campground! Learn more on our River Fun & Tubing page. (Please note: You must be staying at Buttonwood Campground to use our tubing equipment and/or put-ins.)

Jumping Pillow

A must-do for kids! The jumping pillow is a high-energy favorite where laughter and nonstop bouncing are guaranteed.

Pedal Carts

Hop on a pedal cart and take to the cart track with your friends... it's a fun way for kids and families to enjoy friendly competition together!

Gellyball Arena

Gear up and challenge friends and family in the Gel Blaster Arena-- fast-paced, action-packed fun that’s exciting and safe for all ages.

Mini Golf

Grab a putter and enjoy a round of mini golf! It's easygoing fun that’s great for kids, parents, and friendly competition. Access to Mini Golf can be purchased separately without a wristband and is open to the public.

The Pool

Take a break from the heat! Our pool area is a favorite spot for families to swim, unwind, and soak up the summer sun.

Gaga Pit

Jump into a quick game of gaga ball where dodging, jumping, and friendly competition keep everyone laughing and moving.

Playgrounds

Let the kids burn off energy on our playgrounds. Slides, climbing, and open play make it a campground favorite.

Barrel Train Rides

Hop on the Barrel Train and enjoy a tour around the campground! And don't forget to dance and wave to the music blasting from the tractor!

Basketball

Grab a ball and head to the court for a casual game of basketball-- it's easygoing fun for kids, teens, and adults.

Horseshoes

Simple, laid-back fun that never gets old, horseshoes is the perfect game for challenging friends and family to outdoor fun.

Water Wars

Cool off with water wars on warm days... a splash-filled activity that’s perfect for kids and summer afternoons.

Fishing Pond

Spend some quiet time at the catch & release fishing pond and enjoy a peaceful break from the day. Drop a line and reel in a memory!

Cornhole

Grab a partner and toss a few bags. Cornhole is an easygoing game that brings campers together for some lighthearted fun.

Shuffle Board

Slide your way to victory with a relaxed game of shuffleboard. Simple to learn and fun for all ages, it’s perfect for laid-back afternoons.

Archery Tag

Take aim in an exciting game of archery tag using foam-tipped arrows and protective gear. A safe, high-energy activity that’s always a hit.

Hey! Wagon Rides

Climb aboard for one of Buttonwood's popular wagon rides and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Juniata River Valley. It's a relaxing way to spend time with family, wave to fellow campers, and create lasting vacation memories.
